Relax, Swim & Enjoy — Milna & Bobovišća

A half day with no checklist: cross to Brač's west coast and settle into two of the calmest harbours on the island — Milna, the old Venetian port, and Bobovišća, a tiny inlet of stone houses and moored wooden boats. Drop anchor, swim, repeat.

Relax, Swim & Enjoy — Milna & Bobovišća — private boat tour from Split

The route

Routes flex with wind and sea state — the crew plans the best version of this day, on the day.

The day

Milna has sheltered sailors since Venetian times; its long, protected bay makes for the kind of flat, glassy swimming you cannot count on at open beaches. Coffee on the harbourfront, a look at the parish church, no hurry anywhere.

Bobovišća is smaller still — a poet's cove, literally: the Nazor family house sits at the head of the inlet. A couple of konobas, a handful of boats, water like a pool.

This is the trip for the day after the big tour, for grandparents and small kids, or for anyone whose ideal afternoon is a book, a swim and someone else handling the boat.

Highlights

  • Brač's two calmest, most sheltered harbours
  • Flat-water swimming — ideal for less confident swimmers
  • Harbourfront coffee in Milna, silence in Bobovišća
  • The slowest trip on our list, on purpose

Questions about this tour

How far are Milna and Bobovišća from Split?

Brač's west coast faces Split — about half an hour by boat. Short rides are the point of this trip: more time floating, less time travelling.

Who is this half-day trip best for?

Groups that want water and calm rather than sights: families with small children, older guests, honeymooners, or day-after-the-party crews. It pairs well with a bigger island tour earlier in the week.

Can we extend it into a full day?

Yes — say so in the inquiry and we build in a konoba lunch and a third bay. The route also combines well with Šolta across the channel.
